Who I am? -- A dreamer and researcher who is determined to pursue knowledge in a finite lifetime. I believe in the road lightened by dreams and the years saturated by struggle. God help those who help themselves.

I’m Yu Liu who was born in Chongqing, grew up in Yichang, and now works at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). At present, I am affiliated with the IDSM (Intelligence Data Storage and Management) laboratory led by Professor Ke Zhou. I’m carrying out my research on data science and AI for storage at Computer Science and Technology College. I will devote myself to similarity hashing, dark data, smart storage, and AIOps.

我是刘渝,出于重庆,长于宜昌,如今就职于华中科技大学。我在计算机学院和武汉光电国家研究中心开展人工智能赋能存储的研究工作,现隶属于光电信息存储研究部周可团队。我致力于人工智能技术与存储技术的结合,包括相似性语义哈希、智能存储和面向数据与系统的智能运维。

I’m working in computer science and technology college, HUST. My research direction is Data Science and AI for Storage including similarity-hash-based smart storage and AIOps for data and systems.

I worked in a software engineering post-doctoral station, WNLO, HUST. Supervised by Professor Ke Zhou, my research direction was Data Science and AI for Storage including image hash, deep learning, dark data, and database tuning.

Doctor Degree

I studied at Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, majoring in Computer Science and Technology (Computer System Architecture) for a doctorate degree. Supervised by Professor Ke Zhou and Associate Professor Fuhao Zou, my research focused on applying artificial intelligence to storage. In this period, I got a national scholarship and published 2 papers, one of which is listed in CCF-A.

Master Degree

I studied in the School of Computer Science and Engineering of WIT, majoring in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems for a three-year master's degree. Supervised by Professor Yanduo Zhang, my major research direction was Game Theory and Robot Cooperation Strategy, and my engineering direction was B/S Front-ends technology. I won the third in the 2009 FIRA World Cup weightlifting group. Besides, I completed the front-end design and coding of the 709th and 613th Research Institute’s multi-mode asynchronous information management system (B/S Architecture).

Bachelor Degree
